Arleen Torres-Rivera, LMHC Owner

My name is Arleen Torres-Rivera, and I am a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Therapist. Originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico, I completed my bachelor’s in psychology in 2008 before relocating to Florida in 2009 to pursue a Masters in Guidance and Counseling, which I attained in 2010.

However, my journey didn’t stop there. In May of 2023, I achieved my Mental Health License, marking a significant milestone in my career.

With over a decade of experience, I have dedicated myself to working with children, teens, and families in both nonprofit and outpatient settings. My expertise lies in utilizing MATCH training, which encompasses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to address a wide array of challenges, including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Behavioral issues stemming from ADHD, ODD, parenting, or school-related difficulties.

I am known for creating a nurturing and supportive environment where clients feel genuinely understood. My approach focuses on empowering individuals to comprehend their emotions and recognize the impact of their behavior on others. Together, we explore positive alternatives and strategies to facilitate growth and progress.

I am deeply passionate about helping others navigate through life’s challenges, and I am committed to fostering positive change in the lives of those I serve.
